Writing a great brief

A clear brief is the fastest way to great work. The more the team knows at the start, the fewer rounds of changes you'll need.

What to include

• What you need. The deliverable, such as a social post, a pitch deck or a landing page.
• Who it's for. Your audience, and what you want them to think, feel or do.
• Where it will be used. The channel, sizes and formats.
• The words. Any headline, copy or key message, or ask us to write it.
• Your brand. Logos, fonts, colours and brand guidelines.
• References. Examples you like, and anything to avoid.
• When you need it. Any date that matters, such as a launch or event.

Describe what you need in a short message in the Workspace app, and AI turns it into a clear brief. Your project manager then assigns the right creatives to the task.

Starting a request

1. Go to Home in the client portal or app, or open Requests and select New Request.
2. Type what you need under What are we creating today?, or start from a shortcut: Request designs, Website work, Request Campaign or Edit Video.
3. Select + to attach your logos, brand files and references.
4. Send it. AI helps turn your message into a complete brief.
5. Your project manager checks the brief and assigns the right creatives.

Requests you haven't finished are saved as drafts under Recents, so you can pick them up later.
